Gonzales goes

Alberto Gonzales has resigned as US Attorney-General. Good. The man was an excuser and enabler of torture, who provided legal cover for the CIA's use of waterboarding. He wasn't only unfit to hold office - he should be prosecuted as a war criminal. Unfortunately, that's a remote possibility, but like his fellow former Bush officials, I doubt Gonzales will be taking any foreign holidays any time soon.
